A Fund Raising Event In Aid Of

The Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis

A serious case of Mad Dogs and stiff upper lip is due to strike the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis next month when a group of local performers present the much loved words and music of Noel Coward in a production of The Mermaid Theatre's kaleidoscopic revue "Cowardy Custard".

Members of Lyme Youth Theatre are joining performers from the Community Players, Lyme Regis Dramatic Society, Lyme Regis Operatic Society, Lyme Regis Pantomime Society and BOF Productions to present this marvellous collection of the best, well known and not so well known of Noel Coward's immortal songs.

Profits from the production will go to the Marine Theatre for much needed improvements to the Front of House facilities. Tickets for the performances on November 28th and 29th go on sale on October 20th at Martin Diplock's in Broad Street Lyme Regis (01297 445500) who have kindly agreed to act as box office for this unique "coming together of local talent".

Under the musical direction of award-winning Nick Lawrence and featuring among the well-known local performers, Kelly Street, Nicky Harwood, John Challis, Anne King, Jerry Smith and Brian Rattenbury this promises to be a not-to-be-missed event. Accompaniment will be in the accomplished hands of theatre administrator Stephanie Dommett.

With only three performances tickets should be keenly sought after. So get booking for we all look forward to seeing you!
